Baby Shower Gift Tutorial
My sister-in-law is having a baby in September! I am so excited for her and excited to be an Aunt. I love being an Aunt. I already have two nieces and a nephew and I just adore them.
I wanted to make her something special for the baby. I had planned a post about the awful baby blanket I made. I used a simple tutorial I found somewhere and sewed two pieces of flannel together. I hated the way it turned out. It's charming in a home-made sort of way but not perfect. I didn't take any pictures of it so there will be no "look at this awful thing I made" post.
I being a little hard on myself really.
This was so easy and fun. Here's what you'll need:
onesie, t-shirt, etc.
fabric paint
paper towel tube or toilet paper tube
Cut a circle from your tube.
Form your circle into a heart or other shape. (You can leave it a circle too!)
Dip your tube shape into fabric paint and print onto your onesie. I always forget to do this but before you begin printing or painting on a onesie or t-shirt put a piece of paper or cardboard inside. Otherwise your paint will seep through and your onesie will stick together!
I printed several hearts on mine.
I love the way they turned out!
Here's another idea using tubes!
Feel like a lot of work? These designs are available in my etsy shop Belle Rose Designs!
